Summer weddings are stunning at The Barn at Gibbet Hill. Kaitlin and Troy were married on a gorgeous June day this year.
Their ceremony took place on the lawn area at the base of Gibbet Hill.
After the ceremony guests enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres including Herb Tomato Bruschetta with Shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, Cabot Cheddar Melts with Tomato Soup, Mushroom Caps with Sausage & Cheese, Coconut Chicken, Ginger Sauce, and Scallops Wrapped in Bacon. The brides brother was deployed overseas, but he didn’t completely miss the fun, as he interacted with wedding guests via Skype!
Guests were seated in The Barn at large round tables and offered a choice of Grilled Filet Mignon Topped with Herb Compound Butter or Potato Crusted Haddock.
When dusk fell, purple-pebble and candle filled mason jars lined the pathway to the barn.
And after cake…
