In 2004, Jed started the award-winning Gibbet Hill Grill in Groton, MA on a cattle farm owned by his family. Starting with a pair of run down, 100 year-old barns, he brought in the Niemitz Design Group to transform the space into a stylish-yet-comfortable steakhouse that also features upscale comfort food. Since opening, the Grill has been a culinary mainstay of the area, regularly attracting diners for both special occasions as well as relaxed nights out. Before embarking on his restaurant career, Jed had a variety of management experience at Booz Allen & Hamilton and other consulting firms in New York City. He also has an MBA from the Darden School, which included an internship with PlumpJack Restaurant Group in San Francisco. Jed attended Middlebury College, graduating with a double major in Economics and Molecular Biology. He and his wife Asia have a daughter Nina who, in a race to the finish, was born 19 days before her cousins Sarah and Lily. In 2005, their son Gage was born, making a total of five kids aged three and under between Josh and Jed. Needless to say, the holidays are a bit hectic these days for the Webber family.
